Didier Drogba Could Return To Face Burnley In Chelsea’s Premier League Opener

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could be set for a swift return to action for the Blues, after confirming that he could be fit for Chelsea in their Premier League opener against Burnley.

The former Ivory Coast international went down clutching his ankle in a pre-season clash and had to be substituted. The former Galatasaray man, who scored the winning penalty in the shoot-out against Bayern

Munich, with what meant to be his last kick in a blue shirt, had to quash claims that he would be out for four months.

Drogba, who has been handed the number 11 shirt at the club, could be set to return to action quickly and is in contention to face the Clarets tonight at Turf Moor.
