Colombian international winger Juan Cuadrado has won a lot of column inches this summer due to links with Manchester United and Barcelona, but his coach isn't preparing for his departure.

The next few days could prove pivotal for the future of Cuadrado with rumours that he is weighing up whether he wants to stay at Fiorentina or make a big-money move.

The speculation doesn't seem to have disrupted Fiorentina's pre-season campaign as the Viola have registered a series of victories and seem in good shape.

And coach Vincenzo Montella insists that his preparations for the 2014-15 season haven't been affected by uncertainty over Cuadrado.

"Someone like him can play in any position - out wide or behind the strikers," Montella told La Nazione.

"He could also play as a wing-back for a very good team that have a lot of possession.

"I have never thought about losing Cuadrado because for me he is key for now and the future.

"I don't continually think about how this story will end."

Should Fiorentina fight to keep Juan Cuadrado or cash in?
